How a St. Petersburg project would run
The same six steps we follow everywhere we work.
We do not publish local project claims we cannot document. What we can tell you is exactly how the work is sequenced, and that scope, schedule and any demolition or plumbing considerations are confirmed for your specific job.
Request received
You tell us the room, the material you have in mind and anything you already know about the scope. Photos and rough dimensions help.
Estimate
We prepare an estimate from the information available. Until the space is measured, that figure is provisional.
On-site visit and measurement
We measure the cabinetry, walls and openings as they actually are, and confirm cutouts against the fixtures you are using.
Fabrication and scheduling
Fabrication and any cabinet work is scheduled internally once the measurement and cutouts are confirmed.
Installation
The finished pieces are delivered and installed by our team.
Walkthrough and approval
We walk the completed work with you so anything outstanding is raised while we are still on site.
Materials St. Petersburg homeowners ask about
Questions from St. Petersburg
- How do I start a countertop project?
- Send us a request through the estimate form with the room, your material interest and any photos or measurements you already have, or call (813) 725-3550. We follow up to confirm the details we need before preparing an estimate.
- What information helps you prepare an estimate?
- Rough dimensions or a sketch of the surfaces, the room, the material family you are considering, the sink and cooktop you plan to use, and photos of the current space. The more of that we have up front, the fewer assumptions the estimate contains.
- Do you measure on site?
- Yes. An on-site visit to measure the actual cabinetry, walls and openings happens before fabrication. Estimates prepared from photos or customer-supplied dimensions are provisional until that measurement is done.
- What materials do you work with?
- Granite, quartz, quartzite and marble. Granite, quartzite and marble are natural stones quarried in slabs; quartz is an engineered material made from crushed stone bound with resin. They behave differently in use, so we discuss the trade-offs for the specific material you are considering.
- Will my slab look like the sample or the photo?
- Not exactly. Natural stone varies from slab to slab in colour, veining and movement, and printed or on-screen images shift colour. Engineered quartz is more consistent but still varies between batches. Where possible, view the actual material before it is committed.
- Is demolition of my existing countertop included?
- That depends on the scope. Removal and disposal of the existing surface is confirmed for your specific project in the estimate rather than assumed. Tell us up front if you want it included.
